Aussie titles:
There are a lot of tiles a dog can receive when competing in the ASCA program. Due to the fact an aussie is a versatile breed, there are lots of venue’s where they can compete.
Here is a list of all the titles, in case you don’t know the meaning.

STOCKDOG
Arena Trials: Arena trials are conducted on set courses which test the dog’s ability to handle stock in situations which require several skills such as gathering, driving and penning. The different courses are labeled with letters and diagrams and descriptions are included in the rulebook. The courses may be run on sheep/goats, ducks/geese, or cattle. In the started level, handlers may walk with their dogs and provide assistance and encouragement, but at the higher levels, the handler must stay farther from the dog and the dog assumes more of the responsibility of getting the work done. A dog which achieves advanced titles in all three classes of stock is awarded the coveted title of Working Trial Champion (WTCH)
- Started Trial Dog – STD (class of stock)
- Open Trial Dog – OTD (class of stock)
- Advanced Trial Dog – ATD (class of stock)
- Working Trial Champion – WTCH (awarded to dogs who receive ATD titles in all three classes of stock)
- Post Advanced Trial Dog – PATD (class of stock)
- Open Farm Trial Dog – OFTD (class of stock)
- Advanced Farm Trial Dog – AFTD (class of stock)
- Ranch Trial Dog – RTD (class of stock)
- Ranch Dog – RD
- Advanced Trial Dog Multiple courses – ATD-M (class of stock). Scores on each course must be received from 2 different judges. Awarded to Advanced Trial Dogs who have completed these additional requirements:
- Two qualifying scores on Course A
- Two qualifying scores on Course B
- Three of the following six options (for a total of 6 additional qualifying scores):
in an advanced class, i.e. AFTD-Xc, AFTD-Xs, AFTD-Xd or AFTD-Xm.
l. Farm Trial Champion (FTCH). This title is for dogs that have earned their AFTD-X in all four classes of stock, i.e. cattle, sheep, ducks and any combination of mixed. This would be a total of 16 advanced farm trial scores over 110.
- Working Trial Champion M – WTCH-M (awarded to dogs who receive ATD-M titles in all three classes of stock)
- Advanced Trial Dog Excellent – ATD-X (class of stock). Scores on each course must be received from 2 different judges. Awarded to Advanced Trial Dogs who have completed these additional requirements:
- Two scores of 100 or higher on Course A
- Two scores of 100 or higher on Course B
- Three of the following six options (for a total of 6 additional scores of 100 or higher):
iv. Two qualifying scores on Course F v. Two qualifying scores on Course G vi. Two qualifying scores on Course H k. Advanced Farm Trial Dog – X. (AFTD-X (class of stock). This title is for dogs that have earned FOUR scores over 110
- Two qualifying scores on Course C
- Two qualifying scores on Course D
- Two qualifying scores on Course E
- Two scores of 100 or higher on Course C
- Two scores of 100 or higher on Course D
- Two scores of 100 or higher on Course E
iv. Two scores of 100 or higher on Course F v. Two scores of 100 or higher on Course G vi. Two scores of 100 or higher on Course H
- Working Trial Champion X – WTCH-X (awarded to dogs who receive ATD-X titles in all three classes of stock)
- Stockdog Champion – SDCH – awarded to dogs that have completed the following requirements:
- Working Trial Champion – X
- Advanced Farm Dog on cattle and one other stock
- Ranch Trial Dog on Sheep and cattle
- Post advanced Trial Dog on sheep and cattle

DOCK JUMPING
In 2017, ASCA incorporated Dock Jumping competition into its competitive programs. ASCA Dock Jumping is open to all breeds. There are two titling classes: Launch and Fetch it.
ASCA Dock Jumping Titles can be achieved in two ways.
- ASCA Affiliate Clubs or
- Approved Dock Jumping Organizations

SPECIAL HONORS
HOF = Hall of Fame (reserved for sires, dams and kennels having achieved a certain number and combination of titles through ASCA)
VCH = Versatility Champion
SVCH = Supreme Versatility Champion
PCH = Performance Champion
SPCH = Supreme Performance Champion
DNA-CP = DNA, Certified Parentage. Dog has been DNA profiled, but only one or neither parent has been.
DNA-VP = DNA, Verified Parentage. Dog has been DNA profiled, plus both parents, thus verifying the parentage of the dog.
