Daugherty’s Duchess at Drovers DNA-CP “Dottie”

 

Tex is a working bred male bred by Kristi Franks in the US. His sire is Copper, half brother to Rhys and the 2022 Cattle final champion.
His mom is Mesa, a beautiful female who has produced some wonderful stockdogs, but she ain’t bad herself.
Dottie will be the first one of her litter to produce offspring. Her sire Boss is a very high valued hand on the cattle ranch where he lives.
Her mom Bitta sadly isn’t with his owner anymore but also worked the cattle ranch.
These pups should be very high in stock sense, biddable, beautiful dark reds and able to excel in any sport or MVA.
Tex is mainly active in FCI obedience and rally. But also has competed in ASCA herding. He has his open sheep title and his started ducks.
And this with not that much training in herding.
Dottie her herding career should have started this September. But she probably doesn’t want to. Since her heat came early.
I have been working with Dottie at home with all 3 stock and with sheep also at friends places.
She shows nice groups sense, also stays out nice and wide and switches easily in her speed.
Dottie is a smaller type female with only 43,5 cm high. Tex is a bit bigger but still slim and athletic. He is 55 cm high.
The pups will be FCI and ASCA registrated.
Dottie is a cryptic merle, which means there is a tiny chance that there will be merle pups born. Still I would’t think that, so we will expect a whole red solid litter, with or without tan.
Other than MDR1, these pups are clear of genetic diseases.
